Bahasa Indonesia

We offer a general Indonesian Program, Business Indonesian Program and Homestay Program. Programs can be taken regularly / twice a week for 2 months or intensively / 5 days a week for 18 days.

Intensive classes can be held by special request at any time.

GENERAL INDONESIAN

The General Indonesian Program consists of 5 levels:
   - Pemula 1 (Elementary 1)
   - Pemula 1 (Elementary 1)
   - Madya (Intermediate 1)
   - Madya (Intermediate 1)
   - Mahir (Advanced)

Pemula 1 and 2 contain survival Indonesian, Madya 1 provides students with grammar and guided
conversation. Madya 2 provides students with grammar, guided writing and discussion. Mahir provides students
with original materials. Students will study all aspects of the Indonesian language and culture through
audio visual material like articles, films and books.

BUSINESS INDONESIAN

These programs are designed for expatriates who need bahasa Indonesia to communicate with Indonesian
clients or partners.

The Business Indonesian program consists of 3 levels:
   - Pemula (Elementary)
   - Madya (Intermediate)
   - Mahir (Advance)

Pemula contains survival Indonesian, Madya provides students with grammar and guided conversation. Mahir provides students with guided writing and discussion.

HOME STAY

After studying for 3 weeks at an ILP school. students will visit tourist destinations in Indonesia and stay with a local Indonesian family or guest house for 1 week. Students will choose Bali, Lombok, Kalimantan or other places for their visit.

COURSE ORGANIZATION

Regular Classes : twice a week
   - Monday and Wednesday
   - Tuesday and Thursday
Times : 10.00 - 12.00 or 17.00 - 19.00

Intensive Classes : 5 days a week
   - Monday to Friday
   Times : flexible

COURSE LENGTH

Regular classes run for 9 weeks (18 sessions / 36 hours)
Intensive Classes run for 3.5 weeks (18 sessions / 36 hours)

PLACEMENT TEST

The placement test is given to students who have already known some Indonesian
